Tickets for the event may be purchased from anyone representing themselves as an Official Burning Toast Man Ticket Vendor. To avoid purchasing a counterfeit ticket to Burning Toast Man, the official ticket is reproduced in full resolution here. Feel free to print out this web page in order to have a way of verifying that the ticket you are purchasing matches the Official Burning Toast Man ticket.
Upon your arrival at Burning Toast Man, you may or may not be required to show your Official Burning Toast Man Ticket. If you don't have a ticket, or if the ticket you bought is counterfeit, the person examining your ticket is authorized to sell you a valid Official Burning Toast Man Ticket, often at a discount. Beware of unauthorized ticket retailers at the event, however.
There is a simple available test to determine if you have a valid Burning Toast Man ticket. This is the same test often used for concert tickets purchased through "Tiketman" or through other concert promoters and can be preformed in the safety of your very own home. Heat, flame, fire. Official Burning Toast Man tickets are printed using 100% USDA recommended flammable material. To perform this test you will need an object that produces intense heat (military grade flame throwers are the best for this test though an ordinary every day lighter or match will suffice).
To perform the test follow these simple steps:
- Ignite your flame producing object.
- Apply said flame to the underside of the ticket.
- Keep applying flame
- Observe
- Continue applying flame
- Observe some more
Official Burning Toast Man tickets produce obvious changes in color or matter state (from solid to liquid to gas to plasma). Should the ticket turn from a normal ticket color to a rich deep coffee colored brown or gothic soul sucking black, produce smoke or visible flame, become brittle and fall apart, or speak to you in a God like tone commanding you to lead your people into the desert, you may have an official ticket. Be forewarned that should you decide to test your ticket you must perform the test over the complete body of the ticket as it is possible that only 1/2 or some other fraction (we've seen the following 1/4, 1/8, 1/3, 2/11, 9/32, 1/16 and .147865) of your ticket is real. Also be warned that your ticket may become slightly unuseable after performing such tests at which time you will be required to purchase a new one.
It is entirely false that sucking on the upper left hand corner of an Official Burning Toast Man Ticket enhances the event and makes the rave camps more entertaining (here's a hint, it's the bottom right hand corner, right near Toasty's crotch).
